In Buddhist scriptures the name of the route we take when we go after the things we desire the most is called Anusothagami අනුසෝථගාමී. And the Path to nirvana lies in following the Patisothagami” (පටිසෝථගාමී) route to understand the very nature of things we see through our senses. I have learned that when you start to walk this path you will learn to understand various mindsets හිත්.
From what I have experiencedso far on this planet, we go after physical things because survival makes you feel really really good.
We use the collective knowledge and formed networks of value transfer to achieve such things. (අනුසෝථගාමී)
පටිසෝථගාමී as i understand talks about thinking about the nature of things. The way karma works. The way everything dies. Falls into chaos through increasing entropy. Have you experienced that what goes around comes around? When you do something naughty and createe energy vortexes through your intentions and actions, have you noticed how you get returns and rewards or punishments and losses?
