Thesis: The Psychedelic Singularity of Death

At the moment of death, the brain enters a hyper-entropic state marked by surges in gamma coherence, cortical disinhibition, and a breakdown of hierarchical predictive coding. This resembles, in functional structure, the altered state induced by high-dose serotonergic psychedelics such as LSD and endogenous DMT. Under first principles, both conditions – death and deep psychedelic immersion – lead to the dissolution of ego-bound constraints, enabling access to non-ordinary state spaces characterized by unified sensory fields, temporal nonlinearity, and archetypal symbolism.

If one were to ingest a high dose of LSD (e.g., 300μg) at the threshold of biological death, a resonance may occur between the synthetic psychospiritual opening and the natural disintegration of cortical self-models. This coupling might produce what we term the psychedelic singularity – a recursive feedback loop in which consciousness, unmoored from body and identity, merges into an entropic attractor. At this point, reality is no longer experienced through sensory input but as a direct interface with informational substrates of being, potentially interfacing with what mystics have described as the Absolute, the Akasha, or Source Field.
